kunsthaus zurich
the architectural film about the extension of the kunsthaus zurich, designed by david chipperfield architects berlin, shows the journey of discovery of the first visitors to the new building. the architecture is shown in its pure essence, only in the interplay with the bells of the installation "the sense of things" by choreographer william forsythe. the contemplative atmosphere paired with the curiosity of the people form the basis of the story the film tells - the interplay of urbanity and architecture, life and silence, underpinned by the smouldering sounds of the different bells and the urban hustle and bustle in the centre of zurich.
