nestled in the forests of pennsylvania (USA), surrounded by the summer song of cicadas, lies the timeless architecture that frank lloyd wright designed for the hagan family in 1953.

the architectural film reflects the serene atmosphere of the site. gentle, moving images and slides showcase the former residence in a subtle, understated style. surrounded by a magnificent garden featuring numerous artworks by renowned artists such as carl andre, the organically shaped architecture harmoniously blends with its natural surroundings, creating a balanced, complementary contrast to the verdant forest with its characteristic use of wood and natural stone. a narrow path leads from the building through the garden to a small clearing, from which one can gaze out over the vast expanse of the mountain landscape. the hexagon serves as a recurring formal element throughout the entire building, from the overall design to the details of the skylights. the house is located near the famous fallingwater, another masterpiece by wright.
