the architectural film shows the agricultural center in salez, embedded in the vastness of the rhine plain. the simplicity of the architecture, planned by the swiss architectural office andy senn, is evident in the form as well as in the radical wooden construction. with a few exceptions, the low-tech architecture completely dispenses with building services. air conditioning is provided purely by the means of the architecture and can be controlled manually via upper windows connected to a ventilation shaft in the roof.
the shooting was influenced by a massive sahara sandstorm, which created a complementary atmosphere to the sunny shooting days. this abrupt weather change massively shapes the atmosphere of the architectural film and thus shows the changeability of the spatial experience of the wooden building, which has already won several awards.
